Waterproofing of a balcony.
Often when supplying quotes to customers for waterproofing balconies we receive very shocked responses due to the high price. This is a very understandable reaction as many do not know the labour intensive work, attention to detail and planning that goes into this repair.
Here is the start to waterproofing one of two balconies we are currently repairing in Wynberg.
We have chipped out 80mm of substrate to ensure we get the levels right,next is removal of the doors,then to screed, waterproof accordingly, then screed and tile.
Having some one on site to oversee these repairs is also key as many things can go wrong thus an added expense to these repairs.
